GLENN MORTENSON came to the Tri-Cities from Seattle as a professional traveling musician and decided to stay. He has played multiple genres as a drummer-percussionist-vocalist and has played all over the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and California. He has played with several local bands, although mainly with a well known Tri-Cities band of the 1980’s and 1990’s.

Glenn has performed at many different venues in the area, both as percussionist and vocalist. He has added stringed instruments of several types over the years, and now plays them exclusively.

Glenn loves all types of acoustic music, but prefers to play Celtic. He also studies regional styles and origins of many types of Celtic and traditional folk music, including Nordic.
